MSI Wind U115: Notebook with hybrid disc
Friday, January 2nd, 2009MSI has formally announced the latest U115 Notebook whose main feature is the simultaneous use of a solid state disk and a traditional hard disk. The SSD is use as the main disk, so as to attain a faster startup of the operating system, while the HDD is dedicated to storage of data and can be curved to increase the autonomy of the battery. The scientific talk about an Intel Atom 1.6 GHz, RAM up to 2 GB, 2-megapixel camera, while the disks are 3 options: 8GB SSD / HDD 80GB, 16GB SSD / 120GB HDD and 32GB SSD / 160GB HDD.
